Trailers

For this video, I will be bumping the spoiler code up to yellow.  You have been warned.

This show started off a bit roughly for me. For some reason, the first episode just didn’t jive well with me. All of the characters seemed like ***holes and the storyline didn’t draw me in enough to deal with the characters. I was very tempted to drop it right then and there. However, I try to give dramas more of a chance before I drop them. I decided to try and stick it out until at least episode 4. Boy am I glad I did! The second and third episodes weren’t spectacular, but they were an improvement. By the fourth episode I was hooked! This is not just any old rom-com. In fact, I wouldn’t classify it as one. The first episodes lead you to believe it will be one, but half-way through you realize differently. I will tell you this. Be prepared for the second half with a box of tissues. Also, a pillow for punching wouldn’t hurt either. The acting was really well done in my opinion. The main guy has room for improvement, but I was pleased overall with his performance. The rest of the cast did spectacularly. Let’s get to the real star of this drama. She’s the one whose acting shone the most for me. Ivy Chen. Holy moly! This is my first time watching her in a drama and let me tell you, she’s got talent! She can pull off tough, witty, funny, and when she cries, you start to bawl as well. I am definitely a fan of her now!

The storyline was great as well, it’s one of those tricky ones. You start off thinking it’s going to be your run-of the-mill comedy. Oooh no, it is comedic, but there is lots of drama involved as well as some serious issues going on. This drama teaches you a lot even if you don’t realize it as it’s happening. I will leave the conclusions to be drawn by you if you choose to watch it. I feel that each person will get a message more personal to themselves. I am rating this drama as a 9 out of 10 for now, solely because I feel confused that I almost dropped it. I may bump it up to a ten later after I have sorted this out.

I rated it a 9/10
